HOT POKER GIRLS

Jennifer Tilly the hot poker player has been in the Hollywood spotlight for over twenty years, but the light on her is even brighter now because she has become an attraction in the poker world too. After winning her bracelet, she told one of the reporters that Phil taught her everything she knows about poker, "through osmosis". She also said, "This is better than an Oscar" as she showed off her new bracelet to the media and spectators. The Oscar nominee for the 1994 film Bullets Over Broadway won the Ladies No Limit Texas Hold'em event at the 2005 World Series of Poker. She beat a field of over 600 women and took home $158,625 for the win. This accomplishment makes her the first celebrity to win an event at the prestigious Las Vegas tournament. Two months later she followed up this accomplishment by winning the third World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational event at the Bicycle Casino. The women she bested included Isabelle Mercier and Cecilia Reyes Mortensen.

Annie Duke the "hot poker" figures

Annie was born in Concord, New Hampshire. She attended school at St. Paul and went on to Columbia where she double-majored in psychology and English. The female poker player Annie is a mother to four children and that sets her apart from almost anybody in the hot poker world. Annie Duke is one of the most leading money winners among women in World Series of Hot poker history. She finished in tenth place in the $10,000 main event when she was eight months pregnant with her third child. She won her first World Series of Hot poker bracelet in the 2004 $2000 Omaha High-Low event. Some of her other accomplishments include winning the September 2004 ESPN World Series of Hot poker Tournament of Champions Invitational where a first prize of two million dollars was at stake. She also earned second in Limit Hold'em in 1999 and 2003 at the World Series of Hot poker, and second in the Omaha High Low at the Bellagio World Hot poker Classic.

GIRLS IN POKER

Vanessa Rousso

Some girls in poker whom you can never forget would be Vanessa Rousso. Vanessa's hot poker career is moving right along. She came in seventh at the 2006 (Season Four) world poker league, making over a quarter million dollars in the process. Prior to that Vanessa had made a few final tables in major tournaments. In September 2006 she won a $5000 No-Limit Holdem event at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, taking home $285,450. She has also appeared on the NBC late night television show, Hot poker After Dark. Vanessa has attended Duke University and the University Of Miami Law School, working hot poker player in around her studies. Her interests include backgammon, game theory, reading and playing with the Rubik's Cube. Vanessa once considered herself the "Master of Low Expectations" at the hot poker table, but I am sure things have changed now.

Tiffany Michelle

Tiffany Michelle's hot women’s poker credits before the main event of the 20068 WSOP included some first place finishes in smaller tournaments in Las Vegas such as the Harrah's Daily Tourney and a WSOP Circuit Event Second Chance tournament at Caesars Palace. It has been rumored that Jeff Madsen helped her with her game prior to her playing in the 2008 main event. Whether that made a difference or not, she managed to place 17th, outlasting more than 6850 other competitors. Teen beauty queen, Tiffany held the titles of Miss Teen Newhall and Miss Teen Santa Clarita Valley. She was also in the Hot Poker list of finalist in the Miss Teenage California pageant. Tiffany Michelle began her hot poker career in 2005 when she participated in several charity hot poker tournaments. In 2006, she joined Bluff Radio's WSOP coverage on Sirius Satellite Radio and soon became one of the on-camera hosts for hot pokernews.com. Tiffany's beautiful face in the hot poker room was difficult to miss and poker players took notice immediately. However, they started to take even more notice in 2008 when she was the last woman standing at the World Series of Hot poker No Limit Texas Holdem main event.
